On this walking tour we’ll take a look at the Germany that doesn’t exist anymore, the communist German Democratic Republic.
Discover how the oppressive secret police, the Stasi, pulled the strings of the state by encouraging citizens to spy on one another. Hear tragic tales of murder at the Berlin Wall Memorial and learn how East Germans escaped under the “Death Strip” by digging the infamous Tunnel 57.
