Overview

This delightful Welsh seaside town has been attracting holidaymakers since the middle of the 19th century and it’s as attractive today as it was when the first Victorians took their first walks on its expansive beach all that time ago.

The Blue Route, also known as the Great Orme Explorer, takes you from the pier, in the centre of the town, up to the Great Orme, the great limestone headland that sits beside Llandudno. As long as four thousand years ago, the Great Orme was the site of Bronze Age copper mines. There was so much copper here, that it’s believed at one point all other copper mines in Britain closed as they couldn’t compete! So, make sure you hop off to see the mines, as well as at the summit to see the amazing views over North Wales and the sea. On a good day, you can even see Snowdonia and the Isle of Man.

The Red Route, also known as the Llandudno & Conwy Tour, explores, naturally enough, Llandudno & Conwy. In Llandudno, you can’t miss the pier, which is the longest in Wales. It’s been one of the town’s most important attractions since it was built almost 150 years ago. Another place you just have to hop off is West Shore, where you can take a stroll along its amazing beach to enjoy it’s stunning views along the North Wales coast.

The must-see in Conwy is definitely the castle, which is deservedly classified a World Heritage Site. If UNESCO describe a place as being one of the finest buildings of its type in Europe, you know it’s got to be special. It’s a brilliant place to visit for both adults and kids.

So, book your 24-hour All Route ticket today and start planning just where you want to go and what you want to see when you’re visiting Llandudno. It might not be the biggest town in the world, but it’s still packed with great things to see and do.
